Bro. JUN BANAAG, ABS-CBN'S "Doctor Love" & resident Marriage & Relationship Counselor conducted the "TUKLASAN RECOLLECTION" through the effort of Fr. Agot last Saturday MARCH 23, 2013 at1pm to 5pm at the Stella Maris Chapel, Cubao, Q.C.
Talk is entitled "Achieving a Happy & Lasting Marriage Life. While Bro. Jun is having his talk, Fr. Henry heared confession at the back. Anticipated MASS immediately followed after the Recollection.
Every first Thursday of the month, before the scheduled celebration of the Holy Mass, there will be an Exposition of the Holy Eucharist and Benediction. This will affirm Tuklasan's obedience to God's leading to serve through the M.E apostolate as we acknowledge Christ’s marvelous presence in the sacrament and invites us to the spiritual union with him that culminates in sacramental communion. Hence, Confession follows immediately before the Holy Mass.
Tuklasan recently sponsored the 2012 Christmas Party for the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind last December 18, 2012 where Fr. Aloy celebrated his September birthday: with the Blinds & our dear Fr. Jess Fernandez who is in his unusual jovial mood as they mingled with the less-fortunate sight-impaired people he loved so dearly.
Tuklasan gave out pack lunches, conducted parlor games, & distributed Christmas Grocery Packages for the blind & their families.
The Tuklasan Christmas Party held last Saturday was a resounding success! Thanks to the spirited participation of everyone to celebrate the Lord's birthday made even happier with the presence of our dear priests: Fr. Aloy, Fr. Agot, Fr. Henry, and of course the re-invigorated Fr. Jess Fernandez, who stayed on to watch the program & the wonderful performances (notwithstanding the technical difficulties)!
Fr. Aloy Maranan would like to invite everyone to support the Blind Couples of Ephpheta by way of a Thanksgiving Lunch and Gift-Giving on December 18, 2012 at the Ephpheta Retreat Center in Project 4, Q.C. This is his way of celebrating his birthday with the beloved blind beneficiaries of Fr. Jess.
Why December 22? Because Fr. Aloy felt we should be given enough time to raise funds for the blind couples. !
June 24 Sunday is Father Jess' 81st Birthday Celebration & Tuklasan's 31st Anniversary. Be there at the Amoranto Stadium at 4:30 pm for the Thanksgiving Mass to be officiated by Fr. Jess Fernandez S.J, Fr. Aloy MAranan OSB, and concelebrated by Fr. Agot Hinayan, Fr. Joel Ador, Fr. Nick Guito, Fr. Edgar Merin. & Fr. Ben Dogillo.
Sumptous Buffet Dinner immediately follows & a whole night of DANCING!!
Joyful@31! Faithful @81!

Pagkakaisa... Pagpapahayag... Paglilingkod
Some ten years ago, when I attended that first Marriage Encounter in Angono, Rizal with 12 couples and 5 priests, I never dreamed that from that small group the Encounter apostolate would flourish so abundantly.
Coming down from that hill where Loyola Retreat House stood, we all felt something warm, something inexplicably moving. It was a vision caught; and it had to be shared.
This story of love, then, is an endless one. For as long as there are couples and priests willing to accept that vision of love and, above all, willing to share it, then the Marriage Encounter apostolate will surely flourish in our land and beyond - blessed as we are with the Spirit who is Love, Himself.
Rev Jesus V. Fernandez, S.J.

"Our marriage encounter weekend changed our lives forever... we dealt with issues we hadn't even realized were there.. and we reconnected in amazing ways... we left that weekend more in love than ever before... We'd recommend a Marriage Encounter weekend to anyone... you deserve it!! It will change your life forever... "
"When we went to Marriage Encounter we had a good marriage. What we didn't know were the tools we would receive on our weekend would help us later in our marriage through the stress from years of financial problems. It truly saved our marriage before we needed it to be saved. We really think we wouldn't be together if we hadn't gone to Marriage Encounter when we did. Thank you Marriage Encounter for giving us the tools we would need to have a great marriage for the rest of our lives!"
"Our weekend was life-changing! It took our relationship to a whole new level. Everyone deserves to go on a Marriage Encounter weekend."
"Attending a Marriage Encounter weekend was the best choice we ever made as a married couple. With a small investment (only about P2,000 for us as a couple), we had two nights at a wonderful hotel, ate great food, heard wonderful speakers, had great people to talk with during breaks, etc. But the best part of the weekend was the guided times of sharing that my wife and I had -- we left the weekend knowing each other better and loving each other more than ever before. Find one and attend. Thanks!!!"
"A life changing experience for both of us!"
"Attending this weekend helped to save our marriage. Unusual and unique!"
"We thought we had a good marriage until we went to one of these weekends. We realized there were issues we had never discussed or resolved. Marriage Encounter opened a new door of understanding between us, and we took home communication tools that we will be able to use for the rest of our lives. "
"Attending a Marriage Encounter weekend is like rediscovering the person you fell in love with all over again. Get away. go, come back with a better marriage - we loved it!"
"Marriage Encounter was life changing for my husband and I. It has been several years since we attended our 1st one. We went again and was pleased to see how we had put the principles of Marriage Encounter into action. We would recommend it for any couple no. A good marriage getters gooder and a rough one gets smoother".
"We went to a Marriage Encounter weekend. It was great for us. I recommend that you go. Wow! What it can do for your marriage is amazing".
